The collection is diverse both thematically and typologically. It includes wall maps, school paintings, illustrative charts designed for teaching reading and writing, calligraphy exercises by students of the Pardubice Real School and other examples of calligraphy, slate boards, handwritten arithmetic books and writing exercise books, as well as items from everyday school life—pencil cases, school bags, and drafting tools. The collection thus captures the school environment, ranging from teaching aids intended for the entire class to a student’s personal belongings.
